The Blowtron 99M is the ideal tool to teach and demonstrate the widely used industrial process of blowmolding. Blowmolding is used to make hollow plastic parts. This self contained unit features an on board inflation compressor, electronic heat control, teflon coated ram & heater block, and GFI power protection. Operates on standard 110VAC.

Blowmolding and the 99M
Blowmolding is a process where by a molten tube of plastic (called a parazon) is situated over an inflation needle and between two mold halves. Air pressure inflates the parazon within the mold capturing the shape and detail of the moldís interior. Blow molding makes a hollow plastic part, as opposed to injection molding which makes a solid plastic part.
