Description
Self Contained Unit
The Nichols Model 10-B Therm-O-Vac is a free standing portable vacuum former that compacts to the size of a suitcase for storage and weighs 50 pounds. Set up time for the machine is less than 90 seconds and needs only to be connected to an available 110VAC standard outlet. A single 3-way switch operates both the plastic heating side and the vacuum forming side of the unit.
Easy to Use
The versatile Nichols Model 10-B Therm-O-Vac is a snap to operate. Mount a sheet of high impact polystyrene plastic in the pivoting latch-lock frame, lay out your pattern on the vacuum platen, and cycle the machine to complete your project. The vacuum surface, unobstructed by the usual heating hood, allows you to rearrange or straighten your layout up to the final seconds before forming.
Even-Heat Circulator
The Nichols Model 10-B Therm-O-Vac comes factory equipped with the Even-Heat option in place. The EvenHeat Circulator transforms the radiant heat of the element into a gentle zone of uniform temperature capable of processing unusually thin or reprocessed material.
